Overview

Triund, situated in the laps of Dharamshala, is a crown jewel of the Dhauladar Ranges. It is one of the most famous trekking spots for a quick getaway. The Triund trek can be described as an easy to moderate trek which can be easily accomplished by almost all age groups. The trail takes you across a beautiful mix of oak, deodar, and rhododendron. The top makes one forget all the exhaustion of the trek as one witnesses the marvelous view of the mountains.

Itinerary

Day 0 - Board an Evening Volvo from Delhi to Dharamashala

Board an evening Volvo leaving from Delhi around 06:00PM
volvo timing will be between 6 PM TO 10:30 PM.

Day 1 - McLeod Ganj Arrival & Local Sightseeing

Reach Dharamshala by morning.
Transfer from Dharamshala to Dharamkot
Check in at our hostel (check in time ; 12:00 pm) and after have some leisure, head out for the local sightseeing of Mcleod Ganj and Dharamkot on your own.
Visit the very famous Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsu waterfall, and Bhagsunath temple.
Spend your evening at the local market of Mcleod Ganj, chilling around in the local cafes, trying different Tibetan cuisine.
Come back to the hostel by evening, dinner and sleep overnight.

Day 2 - Day Hike to Triund | Camping

Wake up early in the morning and after having breakfast head for Triund Trek.
Take a pit stop at Magic View Cafe on your way through Triund and chill around for half an hour.
Reach Triund by noon and enjoy the beautiful views of Dhauladhar Ranges. Trek Back to McLeodGanj self-exploration (& shopping). Dinner and sleep overnight stay at Alt Life.
