Places to visit

1. Triund Trek

This trek is famous for most beautiful

landscapes in Himachal, you will see lush green meadows and snow-capped

mountains. Triund is one of the easiest treks in Himachal. It has a maximum

elevation of 2875 Meters. You can come with your family and friends for this

trek. You can do this trek in 4-5 hours from one side.

Stay at top and see the sunset and the sunrise, if you have some extra time then you can explore the Dal lake, monasteries, and temples in Mcleodganj and Dharamshala.

Temperature is very good during spring and summer (5-25’c). The temperature will be below zero from December to January.

 2.Bhagsu Fall

 Bhagsu fall is located near Mcleodganj, you need to do a trek 500m to visit Bhagsu fall, you will see very beautiful scenic beauty from Bhagsu fall. Cafés are also available near Bhagsu fall. 

3. Namgyal Monastery

 Namgyal Monastery is situated in the Tsuglagkhand complex. This place is the home of the Dalai Lama. You will see the Dhauladhar mountain range from here.

4.Tsuglagkhang

 This the place where Dalai Lama resides. Many pilgrims and tourists visit this place. 

5. Bhagsunath Temple 

This temple is between many pools and greenery. This temple is located at an altitude of 1770m. Many tourists and devotees visit this temple in a year.

6. Tibetan Museum 

 Tsuglagkhang complex has this museum with a different form of Tibetan art, which also has history documents, pottery, handicrafts, and paintings, etc.

 7. Dal Lake

 The most famous lake in Srinagar has the same name. This lake is 3KM far from Mcleodganj city. This lake is situated in the shadows of the Deodar tree. You will see the reflection of the Deoder tree in Lake.

Kanatal

If you want t visit a place with peace and less crowd then you must visit this place. Kanatal named after a lake that once existed there. You will see the beautiful scenic view of Hills from Kanatal. You will also see Apple trees and lush green forests.

You can cover Kanatal in one day. If you wake up early morning then you will see one of the most beautiful Sunrise. 

How to commute in Kanatal

 3. Kodai Jungle 

 Many photographers and nature lovers visit Kodai Jungle, it is heaven for photographers. To reach Kodai Jungle you need to do 5-6 Km trek. This trek starts from 1km away from Kanatal. You will see lush green forest, amazing view of valleys and hills, you will also see many natural springs.

 4. Chamba 

 Chamba is 17 Km far from Kanatal, Chamb has a Panoramic view of Himalayas. You will also see a beautiful view of the Bhagirathi river.

 5.Mussoorie

 This place does not need any type of introduction, Mussoorie has the title of “Queen of the Hills” because of the pleasant weather, beautiful view of 

Doon valley. Mussoorie established by the British army in 1820.

Lakshman Jhula

 The Lakshman Jhula is a suspension bridge, this bridge connects two villages of Rishikesh Village tapovan and Jonk village. This bridge is at a height of 70 ft from the Ganga river in Rishikesh, this bridge made up of iron and this bridge length is 450ft. Jhula is meaning in English is Swing. This bridge swings a little bit when we walk on this, this is the reason why we called Laxman Jhula, not Laxman bridge. You will see a beautiful view of the Maa Ganga river.

NeelKantha Mahadev Temple 

 This temple is dedicated to lord shiva, this temple is 35KM far from Rishikesh by road. The pathway is also there to reach Neelkanth temple, the pathway is 7km long. This temple is situated between dense forests.

Beatles Ashram 

 Beatles ashram or Chaurasi Kutia. Kutia meaning is huts, this ashram has 84 Meditation huts. It is located on the opposite side of Muni kerti. You can reach to this location after crossing Ram Jhula(Bridge). English rock band came here to study meditation in 1968, this place is situated in Raja Ji national park. This place abounded in 1990 and it is opened for the general public in 2015. 

Lansdowne "Quaint little hilly town" 

 This hill station is very charming and it is alighted among the Garwhal hills, Lansdowne is a very charming hill station, very few people know about this place. Lansdowne is a less explored place, Lansdowne is offbeat Place to visit. This place is far from the chaos of metro cities. It is situated at a height of 5670ft above sea level. Lansdowne is home to the Garhwal rifle regiment of the Indian army.

This historical museum located near parade ground. This building has 2 floors, In this museum, you can see a collection of arms, uniforms, rarest photographs. You will also see the History and achievements of Garhwal Rifles.

 4.Jungle Safari

5. Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple
