Itinerary
DAY 1: GUWAHATI ARRIVAL & LOCAL SIGHTSEEING WITH RIVER CRUISE
- Arrival in Guwahati, the largest city in Assam, known for its rich culture and beautiful landscapes.
- Check-in at your hotel and freshen up.
- Visit Umananda Island (World’s Smallest River Island).
- Explore the Assam State Museum, which houses a vast collection of artifacts depicting the history and culture of Assam.
- Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Brahmaputra River.
- In the evening, embark on a scenic river cruise on the Brahmaputra, offering stunning views of the sunset over the river and the city skyline with dinner served over the cruise.
- Return to hotel & get a sound sleep for adventure to begin
DAY 2: GUWAHATI TO JAMIRI
- After breakfast, depart from Guwahati and head towards Jamiri.
- On the way pass over the Koliabhomora Bridge on Brahmaputra River.
- Continue your journey to Jamiri, a serene town nestled amidst lush greenery.
- Check-in at your hotel and relax for the evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Jamiri.
DAY 3: JAMIRI TO TAWANG
- After breakfast, depart from Jamiri for Tawang, a scenic hill station located in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh & visit Dul Dul
- Monastery in Jamiri. En route, visit the Sela Pass, a high-altitude mountain pass offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and pristine lakes.
- Stop by Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers who fought during the Indo-China war.
- On the way, stop by the breathtaking Jung Waterfall.
- Continue your journey to Tawang and check-in at your hotel upon arrival.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.
DAY 4: TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
- After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Tawang.Visit the Tawang Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in India and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists.
- Explore the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
- Visit Chagzam Bridge & Chumi Gyatse Falls.
- Visit the Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.
- Enjoy panoramic views of Tawang Valley from Gyangong Ani Gompa.
- Spend the evening exploring the local market and sampling delicious Tibetan cuisine.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5: TAWANG TO BUMLA PASS DAY TRIP
- After an early breakfast, embark on a day trip to Bumla Pass, located at an altitude of 15,200 feet near the Indo-China border.
- En-Route visit P.T Tso Lake, which offers an mesmerizing view.
- Visit Madhuri Lake, which was famous after shooting of film “Koyla”.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through rugged mountain terrain and pristine landscapes.
- Stop at the Indo-China Border to take photographs and soak in the breathtaking views.
- Explore the Bumla Pass and learn about its historical significance.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang
DAY 6: TAWANG TO BOMDILA
- After breakfast, check-out from your hotel in Tawang and drive towards Bomdila.
- En route, visit the picturesque town of Dirang and explore its natural beauty, hot springs, and apple orchards.

- Continue your journey to Bomdila, a charming town famous for its

DAY 7: BOMDILA TO GUWAHATI DROP
- After breakfast, check-out from your hotel in Bomdila and start your journey back to Guwahati.
- Enjoy the scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills, passing through quaint villages and lush green valleys.
- Upon reaching Guwahati, you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
