Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kochi – Transfer to Munnar (130 km / approx. 4 hours)
● Pickup: Arrive in Kochi and meet your driver for transfer to Munnar.
● Enroute Stops:
○ Cheeyappara Waterfalls: A beautiful cascade offering great photo
ops.
○ Valara Waterfalls: Another scenic waterfall to enjoy.
● Arrival in Munnar: Check into your hotel and relax after the journey.

● Evening: Explore Munnar town or take a stroll through nearby tea gardens for
a peaceful start to the trip.
● Overnight: Munnar hotel.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
● Sightseeing:
○ Eravikulam National Park: A habitat for the Nilgiri Tahr, with
opportunities for light trekking and stunning views of tea-covered
hills.
○ Tea Museum: Learn about Munnar’s tea culture and the process of
tea-making.
○ Mattupetty Dam: Ideal for boating and scenic views.
○ Echo Point: Known for its natural echo phenomenon and stunning
backdrops.
○ Kundala Lake: A serene spot with pedal boating options.
● Evening: Return to your hotel and relax.
● Overnight: Munnar hotel.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (90 km / approx. 3 hours)
● Morning: After breakfast, check out and proceed to Thekkady.
● Enroute Scenery: Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you drive through
cardamom and spice plantations.
● Check-in: Arrive in Thekkady and check into your hotel.
● Sightseeing:
○ Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: Go on a boat ride on Periyar Lake to
spot wildlife such as elephants, sambar deer, and exotic birds.
○ Spice Plantation Tour: Explore a plantation and learn about Kerala’s
famous spices, like cardamom, cinnamon, and pepper.

● Evening: Optional visit to a Kathakali show or Kalaripayattu (traditional

Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey – Houseboat Stay (150 km / approx. 4 hours)

● Morning: After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alleppey.
● Check-in: Board your private houseboat by noon.
● Houseboat Cruise: Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the backwaters, passing
by lush landscapes, paddy fields, and coconut groves.
○ Lunch, Evening Tea, and Dinner: Served onboard, freshly prepared
by the houseboat staff.

● Evening: The houseboat will anchor for the night in a quiet spot on the
backwaters.
● Overnight: Houseboat in Alleppey.

Day 5: Alleppey to Kochi (55 km / approx. 1.5 hours)
● Morning: Enjoy breakfast onboard as the houseboat continues its cruise.
● Disembark: Around 9 AM, check out from the houseboat and proceed to
Kochi.
● Kochi Sightseeing:
○ Fort Kochi: Visit the historical area with attractions like the Chinese
Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Santa Cruz Basilica.
○ Mattancherry: Explore the Dutch Palace and Jew Town with its
