Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh | Welcome to the Top of the World

  • After arrival, reach the designated hotel in Leh. After the Check-in formalities, proceed to enjoy the scenic views from the Top of the World. Hotel representative will brief you about the surrounding attractions and places to visit for you to enjoy. 

  • Gradually get acclimatized to the Leh Ladakh weather as most people aren’t accustomed to it due to the high altitude of the destination that causes a drop in the air pressure.  

  • Later in the evening, visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa at your convenience and immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions through browsing the handicrafts present in the local market and discovering the rich heritage of Shanti Stupa which is magnificent white-domed Buddhist monument situated at a dizzying altitude of 11,841 feet. It is highly recommended to visit the Stupa during a full moon night as the monument looks extraordinary illuminating under the moonlight. 

  • Conclude your day by indulging in a lip-smacking dinner at the hotel filled with local cuisines which will satisfy your every craving and an overnight stay at the hotel.  

Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley | Exploring Borders of Leh

  • Begin your day early with a delicious breakfast and officially commence your Leh Ladakh trip with an adventurous drive to the legendary 'Sham Valley'. It is perhaps the most visited destination according to Ladakh Tourism as most of the attractions require around 165kms of drive which can be covered within a day. 

  • Visit the confluence of the Zanskar- Indus Rivers, which is also the world highest river rafting point nested at an altitude of 13,154 feet surrounded by gorgeous snow-capped mountains. 

  • Experience the world-famous Hall of fame and learn more about the Indo-Pak wars and pay respects to the martyrs for their great sacrifices defeating this country’s borders. 

  • Visit the Magnetic Hill, where you can witness the unusual phenomenon of vehicles sliding uphill on neutral gear. Experience ‘The Phenomenon That Defies Gravity’ by parking your vehicle inside the box marked and witness the vehicle moving forward at a speed of almost 20km/h.   

  • While returning to Leh, enjoy delicious langar at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and later, enjoy dinner after you have experienced a day filled with thrilling activities and adventures. 

  • Conclude your day with an overnight stay at hotel in Leh. 

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass | A Drive to the World’s Highest Motorable Road (18000 ft.)

  • After breakfast in the hotel, prepare yourself for the journey from Leh to Nubra falls on a very scenic route. Nubra valley is often referred as the Orchard of Ladakh and is known for its scenic vistas, monasteries and the famous Bactrian camels. 

  • Known as the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys, the Khardung-La pass is the world's highest all-season motorable road, perfect for Ladakh SUV trip. As you descend from Khardung-la, experience the white sand dunes in Nubra and enjoy a ride of the double-humped camel, exclusively found in Ladakh. These camel have a historical significance in the region as they were the main mode of transportation on the ancient Silk Route. 

  • Later enjoy camping the bonfire under the sky full of stars and bond with your fellow traveller. End your day exciting day with an overnight stay at the campsite in Nubra Valley.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village | Last Village of India

  • After a delicious breakfast, drive towards Turtuk which is the last outpost in India after which the Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins and is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. 

  • The place is culturally, linguistically, and historically different from what you’ve seen till now in your Ladakh holiday as it falls under the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Even the landscape is different with dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra. Comparatively, situated at a lower altitude than Leh, you’ll see green pastures here that yield fresh produce like apricots and apples. 

  • Come back to the hotel and indulge in a lip-smacking dinner and conclude your day with an overnight stay in camps at Nubra valley.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake | Relive the Bollywood Moments

  • In the morning after breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake Ladakh on the Indo-China border. The lake is a major attraction of the region and is amongst the highest altitude saline water lakes in the world and changes colors from shades of blue to green to red. It is undoubtedly the most visited attraction in the entire Leh Ladakh Tour.   

  • Enjoy the scenic beauty with the view of the Shyok River on one side and the mountains on another side. In Tibetan Culture, the word ‘Pangong Tso’ literally means ‘high grassland lake’. 

  • Featured in movies like 3-idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, enjoy the place in Bollywood style and take a picture with the famous 3-idiots scooter. 

  • Conclude your day with an overnight stay at a campsite near Pangong Lake/Tangste.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake to Leh | Excursion to Rancho School

  • Wake up in the morning to the beautiful Pangong Lake view and commence your journey from Pangong Lake back to Leh takes you via Chang La, a mountain pass situated at an altitude of 17,590 feet (5360 meters).

  • Along the way, pay a visit to the Druk White Lotus School, which shot to fame with the movie ‘3 Idiots’ as the site where the last scene was shot. 

  • Known to be the largest Tibetan monastery in Ladakh, visit Thiksey monastery housing several stupas, statues, and other Buddhist artefacts in its 12 story structure.

  • Reach Leh and enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel and  conclude with an overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Departure | It's Time to say Goodbye to the Mountains

  • Fly out of Leh and it's already time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers and this magical land. Check-out and get transferred to the airport 

  • After a fantastic breakfast, we will bid you farewell. Along the way reflect on the experience of a lifetime packed with heart-warming memories and finest hospitality services.

1. What is the best time to visit Ladakh? 

Ideally the best time to visit Ladakh would be during the summers between the months of April to September due to the pleasant temperature ranging around 15-30 degrees Celsius. However, the true beauty of Ladakh shines during the winters as most adventurers seek to visit the land when covered with blanketed snow and experience the famous Chadar Trek during this time period. 

2. How to reach Ladakh? 

Ideally most travellers enter Ladakh through the Leh Airport which is situated 3kms away from the main city. Some travellers tend to travel by road from Delhi via Leh-Manali Highway (Delhi to Ladakh) which is around 1011 Kms and roughly takes 24 hours to travel. 

3. How is the network connectivity in Ladakh?

Most towns and village have internet connectivity allowing all forms of payment acceptable in the region. In case some areas have low connectivity, travellers will be informed prior to visiting those regions.  

4. Do we need a Covid Test or Vaccination to travel?

For unvaccinated travellers, it is mandatory to take a RT-PCR test 48 hours before travel. For Double vaccinated travellers, you do not need a RT-PCR test but it is mandatory to carry the Vaccination certificate.
