It’s one of the seven Moksha-puris (places that can lead to liberation) and is famously home to several important temples, including the famous Kailasanathar Temple and the Varadaraja Perumal Temple. The town is also known for its rich heritage in silk weaving, with the iconic Kanchipuram sarees being a major draw for tourists

Itinerary

Day 1 | (26-04-2025) : Start from Delhi to Nainital

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and assisted with your transfer to Nainital, a picturesque hill station nestled in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The drive offers scenic views of the Shivalik ranges, dense forests, and charming countryside. Upon reaching Nainital, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and freshen up. End your day with a delicious dinner at the hotel, soaking in the cool mountain air and peaceful ambiance.

 

Nainital, also known as the "Lake District of India," is famous for its emerald-green lakes, lush valleys, and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The iconic Naini Lake is the heart of the town, surrounded by quaint colonial-era cottages and bustling bazaars. Popular attractions include Snow View Point, Tiffin Top, Naina Devi Temple, and Eco Cave Gardens. For nature enthusiasts, nearby destinations like Bhimtal, Sattal, and Naukuchiatal offer picturesque spots for boating and picnics, making Nainital a delightful retreat for travelers seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Day 2 | (27-04-2025) : Nainital Lake Tour with Kainchi Dham

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Nainital, then embark on an exciting full-day lake tour, including a visit to the renowned Kainchi Dham.

 

Begin your journey with a visit to Kainchi Dham, a spiritually significant ashram founded by Neem Karoli Baba, nestled amidst tranquil hills, offering a peaceful and meditative atmosphere. Afterward, proceed to Bhimtal, the largest lake in the Kumaon region, famous for its serene surroundings and an island in the center. Day 3 | (28-04-2025) : Nainital to Delhi Drop

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Nainital, then check out and begin your journey to Delhi. Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand as you descend from the tranquil hills to the bustling plains.

 

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be dropped at your preferred location, such as the airport, railway station, or hotel. Your journey concludes here with wonderful memories of the serene hill station of Nainital.
