Jibhi and Tirthan Trip

Day 0 | Delhi - Jibhi

Evening depart from Delhi on an overnight journey in a comfortable Volvo. Departure 20:00 HRS

Day 1 | Arrival in Jibhi

Early morning, get off the Volvo bus at Aut, from where we catch our jeeps/Traveler to Jibhi. On arrival check into the campsite. Relax and take in the beauty of the valley and the surroundings. After Lunch and relaxing for a while we head for a walk along the river side. Explore the small villages and homes near the camp. One can opt for getting themselves relaxed with a splash in the clear and refreshing water that will wash all your fatigue away. Try your hand in fishing which can be cooked/barbecued later at night as well (if you get lucky and manage to put a bait). Trout fish is very famous in this region. After fishing for a while and exploring the area we head back to our camp. Spend the rest of the evening around a bonfire (on request). Overnight stay in Tents.

Day 2 | Jibhi – Tirthan Valley 

Post breakfast, we start our journey by travelling to Tirthan Valley. On reaching, check in to your camps. This location is a retreat full of riverside, where the Tirthan River traverses some of the finest forests of Western Himalayas before meeting the Beas River at Larji. Next, visit the breath-taking Serolsar Lake, which is a 6km trek from the Jalori Pass, where the shimmering waters of the serene lake reflect the blue of the sky, and green of the pine forest. If time permits, explore the hidden waterfalls by hiking from Rolla village. Relax yourselves by sitting near the waterfall and taking in the ethereal ambience of your surroundings. Later, return to your campsite/homestay as you embrace the beauty of Tirthan Valley and prepare yourselves for the night. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps/homestay, near the shores of the serene lakes under a starlit sky. 

Day 3 | Tirthan – Jibhi – Aut – Delhi  

After a heartiest relaxed breakfast, we travel back to Jibhi. Visit the Jibhi waterfall and Chehni Kothi (a large fortified tower with a temple inside was built of wood and stone around the 17th century). Soon after lunch, we made our way back to Aut to catch the Volvo back to Delhi. Depart with memories galore, as you wrap up your getaway from the hectic city life.
