Day 0: Depart for Sari

We depart from Delhi around 7:30 PM in an AC Vehicle. (Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it.

Day 1: Deoriatal

Arrival at Sari early afternoon. Sari is a little village located in Rudraprayag district.After Lunch we head towards Deoriatal which is a 3 Km trek. Enjoy the evening exploring nearby. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila

It's not every day that you wake up to the sun rising from behind the mountains, it's serene. Early morning wakeup call, have breakfast, later descend to Sari, and transfer to Tungnath trekking point. We start our trek to Tungnath (the highest located Shiva temple) after breakfast. After seeking Lord Shiva's blessings we trek further towards Chandrashila. From Tungnath is a steep climb to Chandrashila which literally means the Moon rock. Atop the peak is a view of a lifetime, the sun rising, the snow capped Himalayas. Later descend back to Chopta.

Day 3: Darshan at Ukhimath & Checkout

Have breakfast, checkout and head to Ukhimath. Reach Ukhimath, Ukhimath Winter Seat of Kedarnath - Ukhimath is situated at an elevation of 1317 mts above sea level in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state. Ukhimath is also written as Okhimath sometimes. Ukhimath is the home of Lord Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar during winters. Worship is performed at the Omkareshwar Temple here during winters, when the temple of Kedarnath remains closed. Depart for Delhi after darshan. (carry snacks and water on the way back as there are very limited food stops). Overnight journey to Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay at camp / home stay.
